What is Concierge Medicine?

Concierge Medicine is also known as retainer-based care, direct primary care and boutique medicine.  Each model is different but they all allows for the return to privatization of medical care. It is a great alternative to the traditional healthcare model.

With the traditional primary care model, doctors and patients alike are frustrated. Concierge Medicine will benefit those who are seeking on-demand care access and who desire same-day appointments, and longer appointment times.  Patients have the ability to call their doctor and get immediate care.

Doctors will no longer be forced to run from room to room, often seeing 30 or more patients per day.  They will now have time to advocate for their patients and restore doctor-patient relationships.  Patients will actually have face to face time with the doctors instead of the doctors looking at their computer screens.

With increasing overhead for compliance, increasing computerization costs and endless regulations, primary care doctors and specialists are embracing the concierge care model that meets their needs and those of their patients.

This approach to patient care results in impressive health outcomes that have been published in peer-reviewed medical journals.  It is an innovative way to provide the highest level of primary care that is personalized and preventive.
